The Empire - the largest and most powerful realm in the Old
World.Its borders stretch from the Grey Mountains in the
south to the Forest of Shadows in the north, encompassing
prosperous cities, dark forests, tall mountains and
continent-spanning rivers.This invaluable companion to the
Warhammer game of fantasy battles describes the lands and
armies of the Empire in complete and colourful detail.
The Reiksguard is the personal army and bodyguard of the Emporer himself.
The Reiksguard forms an elite core of highly trained, expensively-equipped
troops who are loyal to the Emporer in person.
With WS 4 , S 4 and an armor save of 4+ they are the best choice to form
a solid infantary unit.
The Knights of the white wolf are one of the most numerous and powerful
of the Knightly Orders. They carry neither sheild nor helm, and ride to
battle bare-headed to show off their long hair and beards.
Their weapons is the mighty double-handed hammer wich they swing
round their heads, knocking enemy horsemen from their saddles and
pounding the skulls of foes on foot.
Its a pitey they strike last , but when they strike they are deadly ( S 6 ).
Armor save of 3+ , give them banner of sheilding.
Cannons are dangerous if sometimes unpredictable weapons whose
manufacture is limited to a few groups of human and dwarf experts.
Cannons are extremely deadly weapons that have been instrumental
in winning more then one battle on behalf of their users, but cannons
often go wrong.
If you are lucky you can kill almost every thing with one shot !
S10 hit with no armor save and D6 wounds.....
This are just a few pictures of the Empire army, but soon there will be more.
My personal thoughts about the Empire army.
The Empire army are the most flexible army in the whole Warhammer, you can play both
offensive and defensive.
I prefer too play defensive because I think humens are poor hand-to-hand fighters.
I always take cannos and hellblasters, plus a big unit of crossbowers and halfings.
This I protect with flagellants, ogres and dwarfs with spears.
