Lars & Brölar:

Of all the filming I´ve done over the years, this is probably where I´ve had the most fun. Lars & Brölar are two idiotic characters I created basically as an excuse to grab my camcorder and film prosthetic makeup. The first screenshot below, is taken from the first installment of three short films. It is all very stupid and silly. Technically, the first two parts are complete rubbish. The first was shot green tinted since the camera we used delivered horrible colors. I tried creating very basic animations and effects with an Amiga 500 computer and a very primitive genlock/chromakey.

Over the next few years, Lars & Brölar would grow into two very fond characters often discussed at gatherings with my friends (who act in them). I have made them into 2d art characters as well. Examples of which you can see in my graphics section.

The series culminated with the third installment which I did as a pilot for a proposed television series with the characters.
