>>>All about me

I always thought I was going to be an actor. Boy was I wrong. When I was a kid I wouldput together plays and stuff based on my favorite TV shows. I was insane over Star Wars, like most kids in the 70´s, but when I played with the toys I´d close one eye and pretend my head was a camera. By the age of seven, I knew all about blue-screens, matte paintings and soecial effects.

It was around this time i got my Atari 2600 game console.

Wow, y´know?

I grew up in New Jersey, USA. Dad, who was Italian, keeled over in 1987 so my Mom and I moved back to Sweden, our native country. Still, I think I´m at least 70 percent Yank, and speak as good English as I do Swedish. When we arrived, I pretty much stumbled about aimlessly for a few years. I used to draw a lot and I continued to do so. I got heavily into acrylic painting, doing a whole lot of Fantasy motifs. Somehow, Ifell in love with Role Playing Games (I´m not a geek. Really!) This further inspired my drawing and painting.

In the early 90´s, I joined a band, and started experimenting with video a lot. I got into sprite animation and Basic programming on my Commodore Amiga and Atari ST. I also spent (and still do) days and days playing games. I came to think I was going to be a games programmer. My higher educational years would prove me wrong yet again. Gradually, I distanced myself from everything that wasn´t visually or aurally creative.

It was a defining period in my life.

My taste in music evolved into what it still is is today. I met the girl I´m still with. I toured a lot with my band, Urban Chant, and put out records ( with the latest released last year). I got my first PC about 1995 and immediately transfered my interests to it. i discovered the wonders of Photoshop, Soundforge, Premiere and 3D studio.

Sometimes however, I do find the time for changes of pace. Last year for example, I rebuilt (with some help) a classic Norton Commando motorcycle.

Games, art, music and film.

Thats it.

They´ve been there all along. I´m still doing it all and loving every minute.
