Softeningfilter for hard water

Hard - limecontaining - water causes problems with loundry, dishes, cooking and personal hygiene. It also causes unnecessary high usage of laundry detergant and raises the use of energy caused by limedeposits in the waterheater and cookware. Limedeposits in clothing and other textiles give an unsatisfactory laundryresult and an unnecessary wear - out. washing - and dishmachines require more maintenanuce caused by limedeposits. The amount of calcium -and magnesiumions in the water determines how hard the water is.

MJUKIS Cabinet - Filter A softeningfilter (MJUKIS) effectively removes all nuisances of hard water. The water will be as soft as rainwater. It will lower the usage of detergant and energy. Old limedeposits will come loose and dishes and laundry will be real clean. Not to mention the comfortable feeling after showering. The water in the softeningfilter passes a so called ionexchange - substance in which the limeforming calcium -and magnesumions binds. When the filtersubstance becomes satiated is a regeneration (wash-out) with a saltsolution required. The solution passes the ion-exchange-substance and then rinses out. Thereafter is it ready for filtration again. The rinsewater drains out through a hose into a floordrain.
