GREETINGS FELLOW FOOTBALL STATISTICIANS!
This page consists of links to historical Swedish football tables. First level can be found on the eminent RSSSF website, so I have focused
on second level and below. However, I have decided to put out the very early swedish "first level" tables, the ones before the introduction
of Allsvenskan in 1924. I have now also added the previously missing tables from 1918 and 1919 thanks to
Claudio Nicoletti and his magnificent site on European Football.
My first goal was to include all national tables, this is done. From there on I am trying to put out as many of the older regional tables I can. The problem
there is that all tables at 4th level (and below) before the mid 1950:s are only to be found (with very sketchy exceptions) in the archives
of the regional federations, if at all. However, from the mid 1950:s and onwards they can be found in the annual football book of the year. But check
this page out now and then and see. As one can understand it is a lot of work but it is progressing nevertheless.
Please notice that some teams have added FK, FC or FF to their usual name. This is because the club in question have several different
sportsections. Spånga IS for example also have an icehockey team. FK, FC and FF all mean FootballClub, translated. The adding of any
of these three variations are not be understood as namechanges or such, they are merely structural and in some way linguistic alterations
within a club. This does not refer to teams which have only FK, FC or FF after their name, like for example Trollhättans FK or
Södertälje FF, but only to the other teams such as Spånga IS FK above, for example.
Special thanks to Ulf Bertö who have contributed to the tables' accuracy.
Enjoy and if you have any
