Gibson Les Paul Deluxe (1973-80, 1999-)

There has been many more variations to the popular Les Paul besides the, almost as classical as the original; Special and Jr/TV. Most of them were born in the 1970's, some less brilliant than others, but still gibsons. One of the more brilliant ones was the Les Paul Deluxe, which was introduced in 1973. It was made out of Les Paul goldtop re-issues with body-routings for soapbar P-90 pick-ups. Instead of using P-90's Gibson made mini-humbuckers, not very different from those used on the firebirds; and mounting rings that would fit in the original routings. It was
