Flash Powder

Flash powder is a mixture of varios oxidizers and metals. Most used is Al(Aluminium) and Mg(Magnesium). As a oxidizer you can use Potassium nitrate, Potassium permaganat, Potassium perchlorate, etc... I will demostrate how to make it with Potassium nitrate because it's not that sensative as with Potassium permaganat or Potassium perchlorate.


Things needed for the process:

50% Aluminium.
50% Potassium nitrate(KNO3).

Put the Potassium nitrate in a plastig make and grind it too really fin powder. After that put all the Potassium nitrate on a papersheet and carfully mix it with the Aluminium.
Now you have Flash powder.



Some Facts.

Flashpowder is more powerfull than Blackpowder,Gunpowder or Whitepowder. Flashpowder is also known as Silverpowder. Flashpowder can be found in most MI-80's where it is limited too 2 grams. A firecracker can maximum contain 50mg of Flashpowder. Flashpowder in large ammounts in a container can be used as a high explosive. It is really sensative so if you decide to this(which is not recommended), threat it with great care or accident will ocur.
I haven't make this stuff becouse that i haven't been able to get som Aluminium.
