Quality in total design
Our engineering capability is based on sound experience and know-how in both marine and industrial applications. We assist our customers with design studies including shadow diagrams prior to the installation. The SCANJET tank cleaning systems are designed to give the maximum cleaning effect with a minimum number of machines so ensuring the lowest consumption of cleaning media.Top of page
Operator friendly units
With the SCANJET concept all parts subject to normal service or maintenance are located outside the tank to be easily accessed without opening of hatches or gasfreeing. Our machines are either turbine driven by the cleaning media or air driven with portable drive units. The nozzle lifting rod and machine rotating devices are totally separated, ensuring long life and also safe and reliable operation. All tanks remain with closed hatches during cleaning to give maximum safety for both personnel and the environment.Top of page
Marine installations
SCANJET's turbine driven machines with magnetic transmission to the drive unit have rapidly become the standard for leading chemical tanker operators. One of those machines is shown here installed on board a chemical tanker. Normally all machines are permanently installed in the tanks. All materials exposed to direct contact with cargoes are carefully selected to no adverse reaction against any product on the cargo list. Our machines may also be used for passivation of the stainless steel tanks.Top of page
Industrial applications
Industrial applications includes cleaning of storage towers and tanks in the pulp and paper industry. At this site, where some 14% of the total world production of liquid board is produced, the SCANJET equipment will secure the production process and provide an environmentally safe continuous cleaning operation. Any industrial tank installation ranging from food processing tanks to refinery process vessels may be equipped with SCANJET tank cleaning units.

Verified designs
Tests in pilot scale always ereate uncertainty in scale up factors. At SCANJET we have bullt a full scale test plant available to customers at all time. Here we approve each model before it is released for production. Cleaning efficiency as well as dynamic power of the water jet can be verifled. Thats why we at SCANJET always can guarantee all our designs to the full confidence of our customers.

Service is avallable direct from SCANJET or from our service representatives throughout the world.
Original spare parts
All spare parts are manufactured in our own workshop. Users of SCANJET equipment are always guaranteed genuine parts for all our models. Spares are provided around the clock from our central warehouse and factory or from our service representatives.
